Best fish and chips I’ve had. Lots of places claim to have the best fish and chips, but this is one place that could actually truthfully say that. On a hot day, people will wait for up to 40 minutes to get their order. That’s how good they are. These chips are not of the frozen variety, but are home made/hand cut. But this is also where I should warn you – there can be some inconsistency with their quality. I imagine this is partly due to potatoes being different according to the time of the year but it’s worth the risk. When they are ‘bad’, they are average, but when they are good. MY GOD. I have had chips here that are orgasmic. Imagine mashed potato but enveloped in a crisp and crunchy potato shell. That’s what this place is like on a HOT day!
