Hospitility. I can see what people mean by the service here – it certainly manages to rival BBQ City for both animosity and apathy. I attempted to call this place twice to confirm if they were open for lunch on a Wednesday but go no answer either time, even though they were indeed open. When I got there, I couldn’t help but notice the derelict interior. Sitting down with my friend, I got a laugh when the infamous lady manager came over to us, unceremoniously dumped the menus on the table and asked us if we were ready to order before we’d even had a chance to even lift the cover. This is almost comedic! So given all this, how is it that the place is still so busy? The food must be good right? Well it’s *okay*. I had the lunch special Nasi Lemak which was filling and cheap, but certainly not something I’d be dying to come back for. I will try the touted fish head curry next time, but I’m almost more keen to experience the kitchen dramas than the food. Might bring a Caucasian friend and ask for tap water!
