Sometimes you eat at a restaurant and while the food was very interesting, you have absolutely no desire to return. Africola is not like that. They have created an accessible and clever menu that very gently pushes the boundaries. You could get a meal here that is essentially meat and 3 veg and while the flavours would be subtly different, I feel more conservative diners would still be very happy. The restaurant fit out also deserves a mention. Being the shallow person that I am, it was actually one of the main reasons I wanted to dine here! Having said that though, I am starting to wish the lighting in these places wasn’t so dim! Definitely worth checking out.
