Burger aside, do people really think a can of soft drink and a cup of standard frozen chips is worth paying $6 for? Applying this same logic to the burger I then realised I’d been duped into paying $11 for what is essentially the same as a regular fast food outlet burger. Okay but certainly not worth the price tag.

Conflicted. I wish there was an option in between “like” and “doesn’t like”. That would be how I feel about Burger Theory. Their burgers are good and sensibly portioned, but for $8 I felt like I was missing something. Basically it’s not something I am going to go out of my way to seek out again. I think I got sucked into the hype and was expecting something mind blowing (it’s not). Patty itself was well seasoned, very juicy and slightly pink in the middle. Fries were unremarkable and of the frozen variety. Wait was reasonable (15 minutes)
