I felt uncomfortable watching this movie. It was earnestly and sincerely made, but the objectification of men and diminishing of the sole minority male character felt problematic?
A bit long but visually impressive movie with some new cute and humorous characters
Being a homage does not forgive the entirely predictable and unoriginal plot
Visually striking and absurd movie that is deep with themes of identity, sexuality and violence. Original and enjoyable
I feel this is an inferior version of The Holy Mountain. Same religious motifs, but without the brilliant surreal elements to keep me interested
Every frame is beautiful, relentless in its originality and ambition. It’s absurdness still holds up after all this time
An arthouse endurance film. Intentionally and uncomfortably slow. Unexpected alien conclusion
Virtuoso movie – incredible in its scope, funny, fast, complex. Wanted to see it again as soon as it finished
Beautiful, surprising and original film that is yet another fuck you to straight white American men
Surprisingly visually cohesive. Parts of the movie could almost be Arthouse. Unfortunately the cruel torture left a bad taste for me
Average children’s movie, but Jack Whitehall was not too bad (despite his awful American accent)
Not funny enough, horrific enough or musically interesting enough. Added nothing to Foo Fighters brand
Iconic, shocking and still powerfully raw 50 years on
Made me cry. Totally drawn into the world of people and their deep care for each other
Very dry and serious – well put together, but…monochromatic
Interesting take on the super hero genre. Angelina was fabulous
