Okay now that I’ve liked this restaurant, you’re probably questioning how credible my other food recommendations are. Believe me though, this place is not inherently bad. Yes, it’s a buffet so you’re going to have to lower your expectations somewhat but if you have family or friends who are “value” orientated diners, you could do worse than Civic Park. The most important tip when planning to go here is not to attend a late session. If you go at the very beginning of lunch/dinner you’ll actually get very good food – above food court quality. Maybe this place is under new management? The food is certainly a lot better than I previously encountered. Heck, you get avocado quarters in the salad section. When was the last time you saw that?
