Meaty. My work isn’t really close to any Soonta outlets so I’m always trying to manufacture excuses to go here. The bread rolls are probably the best you can get in Adelaide (unfortunately Adelaide has nothing even remotely close to what is available in Melbourne or Sydney), are fairly priced AND don’t contain lettuce. If you are having a “Vietnamese” bread roll with lettuce, you are being hoodwinked. This might be similar to the “pineapple on pizza” debate, but I’m going to pull my Viet card on this and call foul on places that include lettuce in their rolls. Who knows, maybe lettuce in a bread roll is a Cambodian thing? Anyway, the new branch in Rundle Place is awesome value. Not sure if this is intentional or not, but I don’t think you’re meant to get as much meat per bread roll as you do here. Check it out before staff get the memo.
