A pretty expensive ($60) Fringe show of trans (?) Thai women lip syncing and dancing to various songs in some pretty amazing outfits. It was fun and spectacular but not something I would pick myself, especially at this price point because I’m such a tight ass.

At the very start of the show, a voice over asked us to welcome the “male Thai nationals”. This was confusing because the cast clearly identified as women. They indeed looked incredible and I wondered about the discipline required to remain so fit and toned. After the show, both Leah and Steph wondered whether the cast had had bottom surgery.

The highlight for me was a girl who had darker skin than the rest of the cast. They did not seem Thai but potentially Latino (?) and in every number they were in, upstaged the rest of the cast. They would dance off script and be generally way too fierce in comparison to the demure nature of the rest. It was kinda funny.
